After 2 years of prior experience working with another financial firm, Jeff joined Sagemark Consulting in 2013 to begin building his own advisory business. He’s a 2nd-generation advisor—his father Joe has been with Sagemark for 40 years. The two have worked closely together for nearly a decade, expanding offerings and capabilities for all clients.
In 2016, Jeff earned the CFP® certification, the highest designation in the industry, to distinguish himself from other advisors. Although many professionals call themselves “financial planners,” CFP® professionals have completed extensive training, experience requirements, and are held to rigorous ethical standards. CFP® professionals are required to make financial planning recommendations in a client’s best interest, and as a CFP® professional, Jeff acts as a fiduciary with his clients.
To better serve business owners and corporate executives, Jeff is an active member of LFA’s Business Intelligence Institute and Lincoln Executive Consulting.
In his last two years at John Carroll University, 2009 and 2010, he served as captain of JCU Men's Soccer.
Jeff’s core philosophy is to take care of clients in the way he would wish to be treated—responsively and prepared—which he believes is less than common today, across many industries. He has built his practice for clients to have peace of mind they are doing the right things, to ultimately get to where they want to be.
Jeff enjoys working with people who have worked hard to develop their businesses, careers, and themselves—have been rewarded for it—and want to make the most out of everything they've created, for their personal lives and their families.
